Hello people.
Welcome to Rocket Looks !!
Maybelline New York has come up with new Spiced Up Lip Balms.Well I already love their previous ones but this one is with some pigmentation. They are launched in three lovable shades, Berry Sherbet, Tropical Punch and Spicy Cinnamon. I picked ‘berry sherbet’ which is a dark berry shade, and this new addition says they’re specially crafted for Indian Skin Tones.

My experience with Maybelline Spiced Up
While first of all coming on packaging, I did not like the packaging much because after using electro pops, you will be disappointed on seeing them but nevertheless may be Maybelline wants to synchronize with the previous packaging. But when you start using it, you will like it, the twisted up and down stick with a coordinated color tic tack cap, cutely written the shade name on outside of the tube.
I really like the tube type packaging, rather than  tub packaging because it is easier to apply without messing up with your fingers.

The texture is a bit heavy but non-waxy. It feels thick yet comfortable on lips and keeps them soft and smooth throughout the day but doesn't work for really dry chapped lips.Plus the tint gives nice luster and brown red color when swiped twice. The stick of lip balm looks quiet dark like lipsticks but it leaves a soft touch. It is not highly pigmented,so you can use them when you don't want lipsticks but still want some color on your lips.

They claim for 12 hours moisturizing power, which is not at all true. The tint remains for 2-3 hours only and doesn't survive for meals & drinks, you need to reapply. But I love the sweet aroma of berry flavor. Well I am not saying to taste it,but yes who can help in one time licking, though it taste tasteless but the spicy smell is good.As they say that it is made for Indian preference and skin tones, it definitely suits all Indian tones well.

Also these have come up with SPF 20 which is great factor because color + protection + care  is all you need to beat the summers heat.

Reasons to go for Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip Balms
• Really creamy texture, glides on lips
• Hygienic, Travel-friendly. Doesn’t come open in purses.
• Specially made to suit Indian preferences.
• The perfect amount of tint which doesn’t feel heavy or sticky.
• It gives a nice brownish-red tint that looks lovely when you want a break from lipsticks.
• Has a nice spicy-berry aroma.
• Comes with an SPF 20.
• Hydrates and moisturizes the lips until it stays.

The Bads About Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip Balms
•Pretty expensive for a lip balm
•Does not last for 12 hours as Maybelline claims
•Lasting power could have been better.
• Doesn’t heal chapped lips.

I agree that sticks are better than pots, especially for re-applying throughout the day. I love the spf element. #binkylinky

Sticks are definitely better than tubs! I love tinted lip balms as well, lipstick often looks too heavy!
